NOVEMBER 11, 2016 – The film ‘AEM’S WAR’ presents the work of one woman, Mildred Ntetem, in the struggle to get contraception to women in Ghana.

‘AEM’S WAR’ follows Mildred and the establishment of a community-based group that meets to discuss contraception and share experiences, information and resources. Mildred is one of approximately 800,000 married women in Ghana, and the leading activist in her local community for her right to family planning.

AEM’S WAR is a grassroots, grassroots, grassroots project that has captured the hearts and minds of people and with the dynamic of a community organizing, as opposed to a “shiny” NGO. Little green AEM dot org.
